Jed unknowingly started his bodywork career in 2011 when decided to take a Pilates lesson to help heal from a major pectoral tear and surgery. He found the method was so helpful that he pursued certification to teach and help others just like he had experienced. After 5 years of teaching Pilates he noticed his client`s need for deeper bodywork to address certain aches, pains and dysfunctional movement patterns. He started seeing a massage therapist around the same time to help relieve some of his own issues. The treatments were so profound and went deeper into healing the he thought possible. Jed was immediately inspired to learn more and become a licensed massage therapist.
Jed believes a necessary component to complete wellness involves embodiment. He knows firsthand that injuries and traumas in the body directly relate to how we interface with the rest of our world. Jed is passionate about helping people feel more ease in their bodies so they can have the most optimal relationship to themselves and others.
When Jed is not teaching Pilates or massaging he enjoys the quintessential pursuits of a Pacific Northwesterner; hiking, biking, rewilding, and tending to his urban farm at home.
